Ladybugs & Slugs Holiday Club is for children aged 5 to 10. Throughout the day, children are provided with natural and open-ended resources, allowing for diversity in play, which is both nurturing and challenging.

We have a high ratio of staff to children, which enables us to fully support the children and provide a safe environment with high quality interactions. Our days follow the rhythms of the children and of the seasons. The children have the freedom to explore, play, leam and be themselves, giving them the opportunity to develop confidence and self-esteem.

Central to this is the provision of a nurturing, holistic approach, working with the children in a very gentle and compassionate way, with bags of fun and creativity thrown in.

What to expect

Children will need to bring a healthy packed lunch and drink Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day

Nature based and seasonal crafts and activities.
Traditional games.
Campfire gatherings/cooking, developing a very healthy respect for the fire and learn how to stay safe around it. Opportunity to learn how to use tools safely so they can help chop, snip, saw, hammer and whittle.
