In our holiday club we aim to offer a gentle and unhurried approach within a warm, nurturing environment. The children are encouraged to partake in independent, unstructured play which is both nurturing and challenging. Working with the children to develop social skills, coping strategies for big emotions, and personal independence, resilience and confidence. The children will also have the opportunity to play traditional group games and nature based crafts. Partake in campfire cooking. The children develop a healthy respect for the fire and quickly learn how to stay safe around it. They will have the opportunity to learn how to use tools safely so they can help chop, snip, saw, hammer and whittle.
